The next generation format spread committee |
This was a new initiative from the members of the PNG/MNG BBS. It is still flagged as temporary, but already looks very nice, and now hosts the PNG/MNG BBS forum as well. With thanks to Mr. HARIMAWO for providing the web-server. The site appears to have disappeared now, but the PNG/MNG BBS has reportedly re-appeared under the new name of NGIF-UG and maintained now by Mr. SATO Akihiro aka Cocky (see below). |

A public discussion forum for all things related to PNG & MNG. Completely in Japanese language and fairly active from what I can gather. I even poked my nose in, and my message immediately got translated... (Thank you *am*). The list moved to the new forum at "The next generation format spread committee\" for some time, but has returned under a new webmaster (non other than Mr. SATO Akihiro aka COCKY!) Mr. Sakura Dzuki, responsible for the MNG compiler, mentioned to me that J-Phone appearently have adopted MNG on their cellular phones. I can't really tell the full compliance (possible just MNG-(V)LC), but it's another signal that MNG is really growing fast on the Japanese market! Here's a link to what appears to be the technical details: J-Phone [English translation by excite] [English page for J-Phone] |
